'DistantView originated from a vision to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to London. The venture of the Rossi family back in 1985, this establishment began as a humble, family-owned business built on recipes passed through the ages.
Marco Rossi, our patriarch, mastered the craft of pizza creation during her explorations of Italy, receiving guidance from renowned pizzaiolos in Naples—the pizza's homeland. Once back in the UK, her aim was to reproduce the enchantment of authentic Italian pizza, honoring classic practices and selecting top-tier ingredients.
Our modest 12-seat eatery has since blossomed into a cherished neighborhood mainstay. However, our dedication to excellence and genuineness has remained steadfast. The same old-world oven methods are employed, our dough is kneaded fresh each day, and we prioritize the procurement of premium ingredients.
Currently under the care of the Rossi family's second generation, 'DistantView is still steered by family and proudly continues its focus on nurturing a team devoted to our original mission. In spite of modern advancements, the spirit of our enterprise endures: to forge delectable, traditional pizza that unites everyone.
